Updated Toyota Innova, Fortuner 4x4 Automatic Launched in India

Toyota India, yesterday, launched the updated version of the base variants of the Innova MPV and a new top-end variant of the Fortuner. While the new top-end model of the SUV, the Fortuner 4x4 AT is priced in the range of Rs. 24.17 lakh to Rs. 26.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Innova range now costs between Rs. 10.51 lakh and Rs. 15.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Though there was an automatic variant available of the Fortuner earlier, but with a two-wheel drive (2WD) option; this time around the company has added the 5-speed automatic gearbox with the 4x4 model. Powering the 4x4 AT model is the same old 3.0-litre, four-cylinder, diesel unit that is good for 169bhp. So with the new variant on offer, the Fortuner is now available in four different variants - 4x2 Manual, 4x4 Manual, 4x2 Automatic and 4x4 Automatic besides the TRD Sportivo bodykit version.
