Based on the Pulsar NS200, the bike takes its design inspiration from the Pular SS 400 concept that was unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Powering this fully-faired bike will be the same 199.5cc engine that is also found in the Pulsar NS200. This engine is capable of churning out a maximum power output of 23bhp and 18Nm of peak torque. If reports are to be believed, the company might also relaunch the more powerful version of the bike, the 125cc Platina, that the company had discontinued in 2012.

The updated Platina is likely to retain its existing design, although with new graphics, shades and body panels. The company might also tune the bike's engine for slightly more power and fuel efficiency.
